Every bride wants to look
her best when she walks down that aisle to meet her groom. When he lifts
the veil, she wants him to see the most beautiful woman in the world.
After months of planning the wedding and all the stress that goes along
with it, she does not want the effects of that stress to show on her face
on her special day.
The solution is to have a
plan that will allow enough time to meet her personal appearance goals.
The ideal time to introduce anything new to the skin is 3-6 months before
the wedding. There are many wonderful treatments available today, such as
Botox, dermal fillers, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, photofacials,
and skin care products that target specific skin care problems. But all
of these treatments have potential side effects, so lead time is necessary
to ensure satisfaction.
So, what is the plan?
Botox has
been used on the face since the 1970s for the treatment of wrinkles. It
is injected into the face, is virtually painless, safe and effective. It
can take years off the appearance of some people and lasts 3-4 months.
Never have the first treatment less than 3 months prior to the wedding
in order to ensure the look desired.
Dermal Fillers
there are many types of dermal fillers which can be injected in the face
to plump up deep lines, grooves, scars, and wrinkles. The best approach
is to have fillers injected that are short term first to test the look and
the response the body will have. Then, a longer acting filler may be
injected for more lasting results. Always allow a minimum of three
months lead time.
Microdermabrasion
a deep exfoliation performed by spraying a fine
mist of sodium bicarbonate crystals or aluminum hydroxide crystals across
the face. The crystals are then suctioned off the face along with the
surface dead skin cells. This treatment leaves the skins smoother,
tighter and brighter and is best done in series for optimal results. A
lead time of 1-2 months is feasible.
Chemical Peels
there are a myriad of peels and resurfacing
agents available today. Wonderful results can be achieved with little or
no down time. For optimal results a lead time of 3-6 months is best.
Always seek out a reputable medical spa or physician with
experience. Never mess around with a product sold over the counter
for home use! This can be a formula for disaster!
Photofacial
an intense pulsed light treatment that reduces
acne, redness, fine lines and wrinkles and improves rosacea. For optimal
results, this treatment must be done in a series and a 3-6 month lead time
is necessary.
Skin Care Products
a good skin care regime with products with the correct ph and active
ingredients is the Foundation for a solid plan and should be
implemented by everyone for beautiful skin everyday.
With planning and the same
attention to detail as all the other wedding plans, any bride can walk
down the aisle relaxed and confident that she is indeed, stunningly
beautiful. Improve the Skin you are In!
